SAND BEACH
In addition to beautiful coastline scenery, Sand Beach features COLD ocean swimming. The Sand Beach bus operates every 30 minutes between the Bar Harbor Village Green and Ocean Drive/Sand Beach. On busy days, the Sand Beach parking lot fills to capacity and parked cars sometimes stretch for more than a mile on the Park Loop Road. You will be happier on the bus.

ECHO LAKE BEACH
Water temperatures are warmer at Echo Lake than they are at Sand Beach. This National Park beach is located on the route of the Southwest Harbor bus.
