PLAN 5: AMTRAK TO PORTLAND
Amtrak operates
the Downeaster passenger train service between Boston's North Station
and Portland. You can ride the Downeaster to Portland and transfer
to Concord
Trailways or Vermont
Transit. If your train arrives in the afternoon, you can stay overnight
in Portland and continue to Bar Harbor the next day.
Remember that the Downeaster departs from Boston's North Station.
All other Amtrak trains arrive and depart South Station. |
